The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Hon. Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), graced the 3rd Ramadan Public Lecture organized by the All Progressives Congress Lagos State chapter.

The well-attended event, hosted by the Lagos State APC Chairman, brought together key stakeholders, party leaders, and eminent personalities in a reflective gathering focused on the theme of sustaining spirituality beyond the holy month of Ramadan.

Among the dignitaries present were the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde; Conference 57 Chairman of Chairmen and Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Olowa; APC Ikeja LGA Chairman, Hon. Adetoro Adebowale; APC Ojodu LCDA Chairperson, Alhaja Olusola Kokumo; Lagos State House of Assembly Member, Hon. Bisi Yusuf Tobun; alongside several other notable leaders and party faithful.


Comrade Dauda commended the organizers for sustaining a platform that promotes moral consciousness, unity, and collective responsibility among members of the party and the wider community. He noted that the lessons of Ramadan; discipline, sacrifice, and compassion remain vital for nation-building and effective grassroots governance.

He further reiterated his administration’s commitment to inclusive leadership, peace, and continuous engagement with the people of Ikeja.

The event concluded with prayers for the continued progress of Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
