Ikeja LG Boss Attends Lagos State APC Congress & Congratulates Newly Sworn-In Executives

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), today attended the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) Congress where the newly elected State Executives of the party were formally sworn in.

At the well-attended and historic gathering, the Lagos State APC Executives, led by Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, alongside other members of the State Executive Committee, took their oath of office amidst resounding applause from party faithful.

In the same vein, the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Area (LGA/LCDA) APC Chairmen across the state were also duly sworn in, marking a significant milestone in the consolidation of party structures ahead of future engagements.

Comrade Dauda heartily congratulated all the executives sworn in at the Congress, describing their emergence as a testament to the internal democracy, unity, and strength of the APC in Lagos State. He particularly celebrated the Ikeja Local Government representative at the State Executive Working Committee, Barrister Teniola Ladigbolu, who was reaffirmed as the Assistant Legal Adviser, as well as Hon. Adetoro Adebowale, who was officially sworn in as the APC Ikeja Local Government Chairman.

According to the Ikeja Council Chairman, their reaffirmation and inauguration are well-deserved recognitions of their loyalty, competence, and unwavering commitment to the progress of the party.

Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda charged the newly sworn-in executives to live up to expectations and justify the immense confidence the party has reposed in them. He urged them to prioritize unity, inclusiveness, and grassroots mobilization, stressing that the strength of the APC has always been rooted in its people-oriented structure.
