The Grow Ikorodu Movement, in collaboration with the Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM), is set to host a high-powered press conference themed “Gratitude Is Our Attitude as True Progressives” on Wednesday, 4th June, 2025.
The event is powered by the ever-dynamic Aarebinrin Hon. (Dr) Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, a prominent grassroots mobiliser and political figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to the organisers, the press conference is expected to bring together the party’s eight winning representatives from each of the seven wards in Ikorodu (Wards A to G), along with members of the Grow Ikorodu Working Committee.
The aim is to reflect on the progressive journey of the APC, celebrate the party’s significant milestones, and renew the commitment of members toward the next phase of political engagement and development.
Key highlights of the event will include special prayers for the nation and the party, a public endorsement of APC candidates, a review of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s two-year performance scorecard, and a celebration of the APC’s ten-year existence.
The event will also commemorate twenty-five years of uninterrupted progressive governance in Lagos State under the leadership of the APC and its predecessors.
Attendees have been advised to arrive early for proper coordination as members of the press will be on ground to cover the event.
The dress code for the day is a touch of purple with APC party colours, symbolizing unity, royalty, and party identity.
Aarebinrin Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, who has consistently championed youth inclusion, grassroots mobilisation, and progressive ideals, is once again at the forefront of this political gathering aimed at galvanising Ikorodu’s support for the APC.
