The Executive Governor of Cross Cross River State, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, has issued a directive requiring all members of the State Executive Council and political appointees eyeing positions in the 2027 general elections to resign their current posts.
According to a press release issued today, 18th March, 2026, by the Chief Press Secretary, Linus Obogo, the deadline for these resignations is 26th March, 2026.
