Future Eagles Star Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen Praises Buruj Sports Academy’s Play-And-Study Initiative After Excelling In WAEC Exams

Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen, a rising star from Buruj Sports Academy and current member of Nigeria’s U-15 National Football Team (Future Eagles), has successfully passed all subjects in the recently released Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) conducted by the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC).

Raheem, who represented Nigeria at the African School Games in Annaba, Algeria, expressed delight over his academic success and credited his achievement to Buruj Sports Academy’s renowned Play-and-Study Initiative. The programme is designed to help young athletes strike a balance between education and sporting excellence.

“I’m very happy and grateful to God for helping me pass all my exams despite my tight football schedule. The Play-and-Study programme at Buruj Sports Academy made it possible for me to train hard and still focus on my studies. I want to thank my coaches and teachers at Goshen International School for their support,” Raheem said.

The talented youngster remains committed to advancing his football career while also nurturing his dream of becoming a professional accountant after retiring from the sport.

Raheem further expressed admiration for Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy and Manchester City’s youth setup, revealing his aspiration to secure a scholarship opportunity with either of the European giants.

“I’m a big fan of Coach Pep Guardiola and Lionel Messi. My dream is to play for clubs like Barcelona or Manchester City one day while also building a career in accounting after football. I would love to start that journey with any of their academies,” he added.

Buruj Sports Academy’s Play-and-Study initiative, in collaboration with Goshen International School and other partner institutions, continue to set a standard in nurturing well-rounded athletes, ensuring their academic pursuits remain as strong as their sporting ambitions.

Nigeria won numerous medals at the maiden Africa School Games. The contingent is expected to return to the country on Thursday, where they will be hosted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja.
