Florence Ajimobi Congratulates Adeyemo On Emergence As Oyo APC Chairman

Dr (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, widow of the former Oyo State Governor, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has congratulated the newly elected Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, describing their emergence as a positive step toward strengthening the party ahead of future political engagements.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the former First Lady of Oyo State particularly congratulated Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo on his emergence as the Oyo State Chairman of the APC. She described Adeyemo, who served as Deputy Governor to her late husband, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, as a loyal party man and seasoned administrator whose leadership would foster unity and progress within the party.

According to her, “Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo has demonstrated steadfast commitment to the progressive cause over the years. His experience in governance and his calm disposition will undoubtedly help in consolidating the gains of the party and repositioning it for greater success.”

Mrs Ajimobi expressed confidence that the new executive would provide purposeful leadership and promote cohesion among party members across the state.

She also commended the Chairman of the Congress Committee, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, for organising what she described as a peaceful, transparent, and rancour-free congress.

“The orderly conduct of the congress reflects the maturity of our party members and the dedication of the committee to ensuring a credible process,” she stated.

Ajimobi urged members of the APC in the state to close ranks and support the new leadership in order to build a stronger and more united party capable of delivering effective representation and governance.
