Coalition Of Associations Condemns Iyaloja Computer Village For Unlawfully Chasing Away Thailand Foreign Investors 

The Coalition of Associations in the ICT hub, known as Computer Village, in the Ikeja area of Lagos, has strongly condemned the actions of the Iyaloja Computer Village for unlawfully chasing away foreign investors from Thailand at a time the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration is making huge efforts to attract foreign direct investments into Nigeria. 
The embittered Coalition of Associations in a statement signed by Pastor Timi David (President, Coalitions Of Associations in Computer Village), Jerry Mba (Secretary), and D S. Ademola (PRO), said, “On Monday, 23rd June,2025, Computer Village through the efforts of the Executives of Coalition of Associations and other critical stakeholders welcomed foreign partners through the Thailand Embassy, who visited on the invitation of the Executives of Coalition of Associations in Computer Village. The purpose was to discuss potential partnership businesses with businessmen and women in the market members”.
“Regrettably, Iyaloja of Computer Village, in her usual show of shame, illegally and unconstitutionally, came with some unknown faces saw to disrupt the meeting and visitation while ongoing. This action not only undermined the market’s reputation but also jeopardized potential business opportunities for our members.”
“The Federal Government, through the idea of Renewed Hope, is trying to bring in foreign investors, while Iyaloja Computer Village is busy publicly embarrassing foreign investors because of her own selfish reasons.
This unwarranted and illegal disruption may deter future investors and partners, ultimately affecting the livelihoods of the business community.”
“We urge Iyaloja Computer Village to respect the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, market’s interests and allow for peaceful business operations.”
“The Executives of Coalition of Associations in Computer Village hereby warn Iyaloja of  Computer Village to desist further from illegal show of illegal power as there is no law that says we cannot discuss with our foreign partners. Under the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, we have our rights to discuss with our foreign business partners or invite them to the offices of our members to discuss mutually beneficial business opportunities.”
“Let it be known to members of Computer Village that under the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Iyaloja does not have any right to control, direct, disturb, prevent the activities of registered Associations in Computer Village. It is illegal and unconstitutional for her to exhibit that show of shame.”
“The office of Iyaloja mentioned in the Lagos State Market Advisory Board is purely for advisory purposes and not for the administration of the market.”
“We hereby warn that any further disruption of our activities will be massively resisted to protect our ineliable right as enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
“This illegality, intimidation and oppression must be put to a final stop.”
“We hereby inform all governmental agencies, and relevant security agencies, that any breakdown of law and order due to her continued harassment of Coalition of Associations’s members in Computer Village, please hold Iyaloja Computer Village responsible.”
