Sensational Buruj FC graduate, Samson Ubong, has continued his impressive rise in Spanish football, delivering a stellar performance as Motril Academy thrashed Granada United 7–0 in a 2nd Andaluza league match played on Sunday.
The former Berja CF forward stole the spotlight, netting a sensational hat-trick and providing an assist to inspire his side’s dominant win.
Ubong’s sharp finishing and creative flair were on full display, with the young striker directly contributing to four of Motril Academy’s seven goals on the day.
Since making the switch from Berja CF, Ubong has shown remarkable improvement and consistency, quickly establishing himself as one of the academy’s most lethal attacking threats.
Ubong began his football journey at Buruj Football Academy in Nigeria, where he developed the fundamentals of his game.
In 2024, he featured in the Nigeria Nationwide League One, Division One, the third tier of Nigerian football.
His talent caught the attention of scouts from Berja CF, leading to his move to Spain where he continued his development.
In less than seven months, Samson Ubong has evolved into a formidable striker, regularly finding the net and impressing with his all-around attacking play at Motril Academy.
