The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has informed teeming party faithful about membership platform updates and data integration.
The National Publicity Secretary, Mazi Ejimofor Opara PhD said, “Please be informed that UPDATES will be carried out on the *APGA digital registration platform* (http://officialapga.ng) from tonight and all through this Easter weekend”.
“This follows an earlier directive from our National Leader, Mr. Governor, to ensure that no member is left behind in our transition to a fully digital database.”
“To this end, the National Chairman has provided the previously captured membership data to now be integrated into the current system. When these records were originally captured, two key details were not mandatory:
1. *National Identification Number (NIN)*
2. *Passport Photographs*
“Both are now strictly required in line with the law. This integration will bring legacy and ongoing registration data together to ensure all records are complete and compliant.”
*What This Means for LGA Rankings*
Once the process is completed, there will be noticeable changes in membership totals across Wards and LGAs. LGAs with high volumes of legacy data may see a significant rise, while some of those currently leading will go lower.
This is expected as the platform will naturally reflect the combined strength of both our historical records and ongoing registrations.
*What we need to do*
To ensure our database remains credible and valid, we must:
* Ensure all members provide their *NIN* and photograph.
* For members without a digital photo, one can be taken directly on the platform.
* Where details are missing, members should be encouraged to work closely with their Ward Chairman or Tech Rep to update their records promptly.
