Ambode Support Group Celebrates A Man Of Vision On His Birthday

The Ambode Support Group has felicitated with their principal, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, on the occasion of his birthday celebration describing him as a man of vision.

In a congratulatory message signed by Pius Ade Babaleye (PAB), State Director for Media and Information, the Support Group said, “Today, June 14th, the Ambode Support Group joins countless well-wishers across Lagos State, Nigeria, and beyond to celebrate our principal, His Excellency, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, on the occasion of his birthday”.

“As former Governor of Lagos State (2015–2019), Mr. Ambode distinguished himself as a dynamic, innovative, and result-driven leader, whose impact is still being felt across the state. His tenure was marked by visionary infrastructure development, strategic reforms in public service, and a bold commitment to transforming Lagos into a 21st-century megacity.”

“From massive road rehabilitation across all Local Government areas to the Light-Up Lagos project that improved security and nightlife, from the construction of flyovers in Ajah and Abule-Egba to upgrading public schools and health centers, Mr. Ambode’s administration was action-packed and people-centered. He brought governance to the grassroots and uplifted lives with a clear sense of purpose.”

“Under his leadership, Lagos saw the introduction of the Cleaner Lagos Initiative, the expansion of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, and investments in technology and youth empowerment through the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF). He redefined urban planning with the construction of iconic projects like the Oshodi Transport Interchange and implemented sustainable revenue-generation reforms that kept Lagos growing economically.”

“As loyal followers and committed grassroots mobilizers, we in the Ambode Support Group are proud of the legacy our principal left behind. We continue to work diligently across wards, communities, and LGAs to sustain the ideals of good governance that Mr. Ambode stood for — transparency, accessibility, innovation, and inclusive growth.”

“We believe that leadership is not a title but a responsibility — and Mr. Ambode wore it with grace, intelligence, and compassion. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to the Lagos project and to ensuring that visionary leaders like him are never forgotten and are always celebrated.”

“Happy birthday, Your Excellency! Your legacy lives on. May your days be long, your vision remain unshaken, and your passion for public service continue to inspire generations to come” the ASG concluded.
