Amb Comrade Ibe Wishes Muslims Of Southern Nigeria & Orashi Region Successful Ramadan 

The National President of Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP), has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah of Southern Nigeria and the Orashi Region on the successful sighting of the crescent, marking the commencement of this year’s holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe described the fasting period as a sacred season of devotion, reflection, and renewal of faith, urging the faithful to draw closer to Allah through prayer, charity, and acts of kindness.
The National President of SYF emphasised the importance of peaceful coexistence, noting that only a community anchored on peace, tolerance, and mutual respect can achieve meaningful development. He reminded Muslims that Ramadan embodies the values of personal discipline, sacrifice, and compassion for others.
Amb. Ibe further encouraged the Muslim Ummah to use this holy month to foster unity and harmony, strengthening family and communal bonds through shared fasting, prayer, and charity. He noted that the teachings of the Qur’an, as reflected in Surah Ali ‘Imran (3:103) and Surah Al-Baqarah (2:183), called for steadfast unity, righteousness, and consciousness of Allah.
He urged all Muslims in Southern Nigeria and Orashi region to embrace empathy, promote understanding, and work collectively towards building a peaceful and prosperous society. He further wished the Muslim faithful a successful and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan.
