The President General of respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, who doubles as the National President of the Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, has hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, over his highly anticipated intervention in the issues that had troubled Rivers State for some time.
While addressing the media on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, Amb Ibe said, “On behalf of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria and the Coalition of Civil Society Campaign Council for Tinubu 2027, I wish to commend the President and Father of the nation, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, over his highly anticipated intervention in the issues that had troubled Rivers State for some months now “.
“This fatherly intervention by Mr. President, which is expected to calm the tension in Rivers State, will hopefully move the agitated Honourable Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly to drop the impeachment proceedings initiated against the Governor and embrace an amicable resolution of their differences in the interest of Rivers People.”
“On behalf of our people, we are assuring Mr. President that we will reciprocate his fatherly gesture by mobilizing massively for his reelection in 2027. We use this medium to plead with all the parties involved in the overall interest of Rivers State to sheath their swords and embrace peace for the development of our dear state.
