The President General of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, who doubles as the National President of the Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP), has been appointed as the Coordinator for Civil Society Campaign Council For Tinubu 2027 in Rivers State.
The Civil Society Campaign Council for Tinubu 2027 is a strategic platform designed to unite Civil Society Groups (CSOs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and Pressure Groups in support of President Tinubu’s reelection bid in 2027. This coalition aims to mobilize, engage, and campaign for the President’s vision and policies that have positively impacted Nigerians.
The Council’s mission is to galvanize support for President Tinubu’s leadership and policies, promoting good governance, accountability, and development. Key objectives include:
1. Mobilizing CSOs and NGOs to support President Tinubu’s reelection.
2. Promoting the President’s achievements and policies.
3. Building a strong grassroots movement.
4. Engaging stakeholders and influencers.
The Council will undertake various activities, including:
1. Grassroots mobilization and outreach.
2. Advocacy and policy engagement.
3. Social media campaigns.
4. Public events and rallies.
The Civil Society Campaign Council for Tinubu 2027 aims to:
1. Build a strong support base for President Tinubu.
2. Promote the President’s vision and policies.
3. Enhance grassroots engagement.
According to the Director General of Civil Society Campaign Council for Tinubu 2027, Rt. Comrade Emmanuel Johnny, by working together, the Council can contribute to a successful reelection campaign and continued progress in Nigeria.
Speaking at the occasion marking Democracy Day, the Director General, Rt. Comrade Emmanuel Johnny, announced the appointment of Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe as the Coordinator of the Council in Rivers State.
Reacting to the appointment, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe appreciated the Council for the honour and pledged to put in his best efforts to achieve the purpose and mission of the Council in Rivers State.
He assured the Council of mobilising members of different groups and platforms to work for the success of the Council in Rivers State and beyond.
